![]() ![]() Recently went to Las Vegas with my bro-friend and here is our observations from various restaurants, bars and hotel. What used to be free or comped, they now nickel and dime you to squeeze every possible dollar out of. The resort hotels on the Las Vegas Strip have been taken over by the Bean Counters. The Bean Counters are really just screwing their lowest paid employees by having them clean less rooms, hence less labor costs. The other weird thing is when you check in for more than one night Rio Las Vegas offers you a $20 resort credit if you choose not to have your room cleaned daily by the maids. I complained to the Rio Hotel Manager and still nothing was done about hot water and no response about the drunk who kept me awake in the middle of the night. So I called Security, who came up to find a man passed out on the hallway floor in front of my door.Īlso, the shower head cap came loose from the tile and I had no hot water for the last two days of my stay. ![]() My room was located near the elevator and I had a drunk come pounding on my door at 2:47 am.
